Here at the Select Group, we believe in the power of giving back to the communities we serve. We understand that our success is intertwined with the well-being of the neighborhoods, towns, and cities where we operate. To embody this commitment to community engagement, we have established the "Make a Difference" program – a unique initiative that empowers our agents to contribute to their respective communities in a meaningful way.

AGENT CONTRIBUTION

Our agents are the heart and soul of our organization. To facilitate their involvement in community-driven initiatives, we encourage them to contribute $15 out of every closing they facilitate. This financial commitment is a demonstration of their dedication to making a difference beyond their real estate transactions.

COMPANY MATCHING

We are fully committed to supporting our agents in their charitable endeavors. To amplify their contributions, the company matches their donations at 50%. This means that for every $15 donated by an agent, we add $7.50 to the fund. This matching contribution doubles the impact of every agent's giving.

COMMUNITY-CENTRIC APPROACH

Agent-Led Committees: In each of our offices, we encourage agents to come together and form a Make a Difference committee comprising at least three agents. These committees serve as the custodians of the program, responsible for assessing, approving, and disbursing funds to local initiatives.

Local Decision-Making: The real strength of the Make a Difference program lies in its grassroots approach. The committees work directly with their communities to identify projects or organizations in need of support. This ensures that the program's contributions are hyper-targeted to address local challenges.

• Agent Empowerment: It's important to emphasize that the program is managed by the agents themselves, not the company. This fosters a sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride among our agents, as they actively engage with the causes and organizations, they are passionate about. 

IMPACTFUL OUTCOMES

Since the inception of the Make a Difference program, our agents have witnessed its transformative power firsthand. Through their collective efforts and the company's matching contributions, we have been able to support a wide range of community initiatives, including:

• Education and Youth Programs: Funding for schools, scholarships, and extracurricular activities that enrich the lives of local students.

• Housing and Shelter Support: Assistance for homeless shelters, housing programs, and initiatives addressing housing affordability.

• Health and Well-Being: Support for healthcare facilities, wellness programs, and initiatives that promote physical and mental health.

• Arts and Culture: Contributions to local arts organizations, museums, and cultural events that enhance community vibrancy.

• Environmental Initiatives: Funding for projects that protect and preserve local natural resources, parks, and green spaces. 

Our Make a Difference program is a testament to our unwavering commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
