Eric Beckman started with Select Group Real Estate in 2004 and is currently the CTO for the company. Eric firmly believes that the most complex solution is not always the best solution. Bloated IT systems are unsustainable, costly, and often much more difficult to secure. Whether it is changing-out existing technology or merging the tech platforms of acquired companies, Eric strives to implement stable, secure, and supportable solutions. His favorite duties are educating his technical team, collaborating with other departments, and analyzing new solutions.
Eric’s first computer was an Apple IIc when he was 9 years old. Computers remained a hobby of his until he got his first help desk job in 1998 at Direct Connect, a local internet service provider in El Dorado County, CA where he helped users with their dial-up and DSL connections. Currently he lives in El Dorado County, CA with his wife and two daughters and spends free time helping people in his community.
